Chat and Cowork are now one Claude experience on Claude Enterprise plans, with new admin controls over models and spend.

Conversations start as chat; tasks that need code or files move to an Anthropic-managed cloud environment and keep running after you close your laptop, resumable on web, desktop, or mobile
Chats, projects, connectors, skills, and plugins carry over into the unified experience
New admin controls: Efficient mode keeps the experience on Sonnet and Haiku models, model entitlements set which models each role can use, spend limits apply at org, group, and member level, and pooled group budgets give a group one shared monthly amount
Each cloud session runs in its own isolated virtual machine with network access off by default for Enterprise, and connector credentials stay outside the sandbox
Admins manage the rollout in Organization settings; orgs using zero data retention for Claude Code, a HIPAA-ready setup, or customer-managed encryption keys stay on their current configuration
