Privacy Policy

Last Updated: March 24, 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

1. Who We Are

Chasing Next is operated by Moonswell Marketing LLC, a California-based business offering interactive AI training for marketing teams and organizations.

2. What We Collect

We collect personal data you provide through platform use:

  • Name and email address (via registration, magic link authentication, or invitation)
  • Organization and team membership
  • Learner profile information you provide (job title, team, industry, daily work, friction points, aspirations)
  • Training submissions, completion progress, and assessment responses
  • Files you upload (stored securely via Cloudflare R2)
  • Payment information (processed securely via Stripe — we do not store card details)
  • Support form submissions

We may also collect:

  • Device and browser information via Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Email delivery status (sent, failed) via Resend

3. How We Use Your Data

We use this information to:

  • Deliver the training platform and track your progress
  • Display your submissions within your team and organization (team feed, manager dashboard)
  • Generate personalized content tailored to your role and workflows (see Section 5 for details on AI processing)
  • Authenticate your account via magic links
  • Respond to support inquiries
  • Improve the platform experience
  • Send relevant updates or communications (with opt-out available)

We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Data Processors

We share data only with trusted platforms used to deliver the service:

  • Stripe (payment processing)
  • Resend (transactional and notification emails)
  • Vercel (platform hosting and serverless functions)
  • Turso (database — encrypted SQLite)
  • Cloudflare R2 (file and asset storage)
  • Google Analytics (GA4) (anonymous site usage analytics)
  • AI language model providers (which may include Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and others) for generating personalized content and organizational insights — see Section 5 for details on what data is shared

Each of these platforms maintains their own privacy and security policies.

5. AI-Generated Content & Data Processing

We use third-party AI services (which may include Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and others) for two purposes:

Personalized content. When you purchase a personalization unlock and have completed your learner profile, the following information is sent to AI providers to generate content tailored to you:

  • Your first name (used for greetings and natural language)
  • Professional context from your profile: job title, team, industry, daily work, collaborators, friction points, and aspirations

If you include company names, organizational details, or other information in your profile fields, that information will also be processed by AI providers as part of generating your personalized content.

Organizational insights. For team and organizational accounts, we may use AI services to analyze aggregated team submissions and activity to generate insights for managers, such as common themes, opportunity signals, and suggested discussion topics. This analysis uses team-level data within your organization only.

We do not send your email address, last name, or account credentials to AI providers. All AI providers we use are configured to not train on your data. We may change providers at any time, provided the same data protections are maintained. Generated content and insights are stored on our platform and are not shared outside your organization.

6. Organization Data Isolation

If you access the platform through an organization, your submissions, progress, and activity are visible to your team members and designated managers within that organization. Your data is isolated from other organizations on the platform. Organization administrators can view team-level analytics and submission patterns but cannot access other organizations' data.

Organizations requiring a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) for compliance purposes may request one by contacting support@chasingnext.com.

7. Your Rights

All users:

  • You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal data
  • You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time
  • You may request data deletion by contacting support@chasingnext.com

California residents (CCPA):

  • You have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and how it is used
  • You have the right to request deletion of your personal information
  • We do not sell your personal information
  • We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights
  • To submit a CCPA request, email support@chasingnext.com

EU and UK residents (GDPR):

  • You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and port your data
  • You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent
  • You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Payment records are retained for up to 7 years for tax and accounting purposes.

If you request account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days. For organizational accounts, data is retained for the duration of the engagement and a reasonable period afterward to support measurement, reporting, and follow-up engagements. Organizations may request data export or deletion at any time by contacting support.

Anonymized and aggregated data (which cannot identify you) may be retained indefinitely for product improvement and analytics.

9. Cookies

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Essential cookies: Authentication session tokens (HTTP-only, Secure, SameSite=Strict). These are required for the platform to function and cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies: Google Analytics (GA4) uses cookies to collect anonymous usage data such as pages visited, device type, and browser. This helps us improve the platform experience. You can manage your cookie preferences via the consent banner shown on your first visit.

10. Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your data, including encrypted database connections, hashed authentication tokens, HTTP-only secure session cookies, org-scoped data access controls, and rate limiting on all endpoints. No system is 100% secure, and use of our services is at your own risk.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. If we make significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or a notice on the platform before the changes take effect.
