Why it matters
Know that AI is now a major factor in your performance evaluations and career decisions. Beyond that, managers are being asked to evaluate if AI can replace their teams while lacking basic AI literacy themselves.
What to do now
Document your contributions in clear, measurable terms and make sure your intangible traits are evident. As AI use increases, both your tool capabilities and unique human traits will make you stand out.
One More Thing
The Anti-Bias Prompt That's Changing How I Use AI
Most people unknowingly bias AI results through subtle skewed framing in their prompts. This technique has AI analyze your prompt for bias, rewrite it neutrally, then respond to the improved version.
Copy this prompt:
"Before responding to any prompt or question, please:
1. First, analyze the prompt for bias:
- Identify any leading language, loaded terms, or embedded assumptions
- Note if the question limits possible responses or missing perspectives
- Check for binary framing that oversimplifies complex issues
2. Then rewrite the prompt neutrally:
- Remove biased language and assumptions
- Make it open-ended to allow for multiple viewpoints
- Include relevant perspectives that may have been excluded
3. Finally, answer the neutralized version:
- Provide a balanced, objective response
- Include multiple perspectives and relevant evidence
- Acknowledge uncertainties or limitations where appropriate
Always show both the original analysis and the rewritten prompt before providing your main response."

Why it matters
Strips out influencing language so AI doesn't become your yes-man. This helps you spot binary thinking, missing perspectives, and assumed difficulties you didn't realize you were building into questions.
What to do now
Next time you use AI for work:
1. Input this prompt into your chat window & hit submit
2. Add your request
3. Watch AI identify your bias and reframe for a neutral perspective instead of reaffirming results
