Google's agent coding tool now runs as an extension inside VS Code, Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs, and Zed, instead of only in its own application.

The VS Code and Zed extensions are generally available, the Visual Studio extension is in preview, and JetBrains IDEs need version 2026.2.1 or later
Install from the VS Code and Visual Studio marketplaces, or in one click inside JetBrains and Zed
One Antigravity account works across every editor, so there is no separate sign-in or license per environment
The free tier and all paid individual plans have access; enterprise access runs through Gemini Enterprise or Google Cloud credentials and is still in preview
