Claude for Google Workspace (Beta)

Claude now works in a sidebar inside Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, and can open and edit Google files from a Claude chat, for paid Claude plans.

An add-on puts Claude in a sidebar next to your open Doc, Sheet, or Slides deck. It reads what's open, sees what you've selected, and edits the file in place.
In Docs it rewrites and restyles sections or turns text into tables. In Sheets it writes formulas, builds pivot tables and native charts, and adds tabs. In Slides it adds slides that match the deck's existing layouts and flags overlapping or off-slide elements.
Edits default to 'Ask before edits', where each change shows up as a card you approve. Switching to 'Accept all edits' lets Claude apply changes without stopping.
Separate Docs, Sheets, and Slides connectors work from the Claude side: paste a Google file link or ask for a new doc, sheet, or deck, and it opens beside the chat. Claude's access follows your existing Google sharing permissions.
Public beta on all paid Claude plans. Install it from the Google Workspace Marketplace. Workspace admins can deploy it domain-wide, and Team and Enterprise owners have to turn the connectors on.
