Claude in Chrome (Generally Available)

The Claude browser extension is out of pilot and available on every paid Claude plan, and it now takes actions without asking permission for each one.

Details

Claude reads the page you are on and clicks links, types text, navigates between pages, and fills out forms using the logins you already have.
It now takes actions on its own instead of asking you to approve each one. A safety check reviews every intended action against your original request before it runs.
Two more defenses run alongside it: web content is scanned for hidden attack instructions before Claude acts, and the model is trained on a wider library of those attacks.
Available on every paid Claude plan, installed from the Chrome Web Store. Chrome only, no other Chromium browsers and no mobile.
Admins can restrict it to an approved list of domains.
