Microsoft 365 Connector Write Tools

Claude's Microsoft 365 connector can now send email, manage your calendar, and edit OneDrive and SharePoint files, not just read them.

Until now the connector could only search and read; write tools add drafting and sending email, managing calendar events, updating mailbox settings, and creating and editing OneDrive and SharePoint files
Emails Claude sends carry a header marking them as agent-initiated, and attachments are not supported, so any message with an attachment is rejected
A Microsoft admin has to approve the updated permissions and turn write tools on for the organization before anyone can use them
Available across all Claude plans (Free, Pro, Max, Team, Enterprise), with per-user limits on writes, sends, and recipients
