Claude Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5 in Google Antigravity

Google Cloud customers can now pick Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5 inside Google's Antigravity coding tools, next to the Gemini models.

  • Both models show up in the model picker in Antigravity 2.0, the Antigravity CLI, and the Antigravity extensions for VS Code, JetBrains IntelliJ, and Visual Studio
  • You can switch models between turns in the same conversation and keep your files, open work, and terminal context
  • Admins have to turn the models on first. Claude usage doesn't come out of the Gemini Enterprise token allowance and is billed pay-as-you-go through Google Cloud
  • Small Gemini models still run in the background for context and summaries, and those can add charges

Best for

Coding work where you want one model to build a change and a different model to review it

When to use it
