Claude reads across the whole channel conversation, plus its memory and standing instructions, instead of classifying each message on its own
It picks one of four responses: reply inline, open a thread for deeper work, route to an existing workstream, or stay silent
Anthropic measures it as about 30% better at judging when to engage, and it acknowledges messages in seconds instead of starting up silently
Available to Claude Teams and Enterprise customers at no added cost, and the extra context it reads does not count toward usage or spend limits
You can switch off automatic replies per channel, or give plain-language instructions like never respond here unless someone tags you
