Cloud tasks keep running while your computer is asleep, and you can start them from web, mobile, or the desktop app
A cloud environment saves your repos, dependencies, tools, and access settings; Codex inspects the repos, tests the setup with you, and you publish it
Each new task gets its own isolated workspace from that published setup, so you don't write install scripts
Enterprise workspaces can share an environment so colleagues start from the same setup, while personal secrets stay per user
Codex Remote lets you start, guide, approve, and review tasks on a connected computer from your phone
The older Codex Cloud experience is planned for deprecation
