Connectors in the Perplexity Agent API

Agents on the Perplexity Agent API can reach GitHub, Slack, Google Drive, and Datadog without you passing credentials on every call.

An API Group admin connects each service once and every member of that group can use it
Covers GitHub, Slack, Google Drive, and Datadog as managed connectors
Pairing the GitHub connector with Sandbox lets a single run clone a private repo, change the code, and open a pull request, with the same access as your own GitHub account
Anything outside those four services still goes through remote MCP servers, and Perplexity takes requests for new managed connectors by email
