Enterprise-Managed Auth for MCP Connectors (Generally Available)

Admins on Claude Team and Enterprise can switch on connected tools for the whole organization through their identity provider, so nobody has to authorize each tool themselves.

Admins connect their identity provider to Claude and pick which connectors to switch on, and people find those connectors already set up the first time they log in
Connector access follows the groups and roles defined in the identity provider, and stays the same across Claude chat, Claude Code, and Cowork
Replaces a two-step setup where an admin enabled a connector for the organization and then every person had to authorize it individually
Admins can require connections to come through the identity provider only, which keeps work accounts separate from personal ones
Okta is the supported identity provider, and supported connectors include Asana, Atlassian, Canva, Datadog, Figma, Granola, Linear, Notion, Slack, and Supabase
Developers can add the same centralized authorization to their own third-party MCP connectors
