Gemini Notebook Upgraded Experience (All Pro Users)

The agentic research version of Gemini Notebook, previously limited to Ultra subscribers, is now switched on for every Google AI Pro user.

Notebook can start from a loose idea and a few questions and go find and organize the sources itself, instead of requiring every source up front.
It generates charts, PDFs, spreadsheets, and images as outputs from the material in a notebook, not just text summaries.
Chat inside a notebook runs on the upgraded model, with more thorough responses across the whole flow.
The capability first shipped in June 2026 for Google AI Ultra subscribers and Workspace business accounts. This rollout finishes it for the Pro tier at 100 percent.
