Google Cloud CLI Remote MCP Server (Preview)

A hosted connection that lets AI agents run Google Cloud and BigQuery command-line tasks without installing anything, for teams whose agents work inside Google Cloud.

Details

Agents connect to one hosted address and can run gcloud commands (infrastructure, diagnostics, security) and bq commands (BigQuery jobs, scheduling, data management)
Uses MCP, the standard way AI agents plug into outside tools, so any agent that supports MCP can connect
Commands run in an isolated sandbox with no stored credentials, using only the permissions of the person or agent identity making the call
Every call is recorded in Cloud audit logs, and Google's Model Armor screens requests for hidden malicious instructions
In public preview. The server itself is free, and you pay only for the Google Cloud resources it creates
