Microsoft is previewing SpaceXAI's Grok models inside Microsoft 365 Copilot for a limited group of Frontier program customers.
Details
- Rolling out first in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for eligible Frontier customers
- Off by default, so an admin has to turn on a dedicated setting before anyone can use Grok models
- SpaceXAI has been added to Microsoft's list of subprocessors, which matters for companies that review where their data is processed
- Not available in the EU, EFTA countries, or the UK
- Microsoft calls it a focused release and says wider rollout depends on customer feedback and usage
