Looker Data Apps (Preview)

Looker can now build interactive business apps from a plain-language description, for Looker customers on Google Cloud.

You describe the app you want and an AI agent builds it as an interactive web app hosted inside Looker
Unlike dashboards, data apps can take user input, run simulations, update source records, and send events to tools like Salesforce and Jira
Apps reuse the metric definitions and access rules already set up in Looker, and you can inspect the SQL queries they run
Apps can be built with coding tools like Claude Code or Antigravity CLI, or an agent-generated app can be deployed into Looker without code
AI usage is charged only while the app is being designed and generated. People using the finished app run on standard Looker, so cost does not grow with the number of users

Workflows where people need to adjust inputs, run what-if scenarios, or push updates to tools like Salesforce or Jira straight from the data.
