- MAI-Thinking-1 is Microsoft's first reasoning model, tuned for efficiency at a low token cost.
- MAI-Code-1 is a coding model that plugs into GitHub Copilot and VS Code.
- MAI-Image-2.5, with a faster MAI-Image-2.5-Flash variant, generates images and is available in PowerPoint and Foundry, with OneDrive coming soon.
- MAI-Transcribe-1.5 handles transcription across 43 languages, and MAI-Voice-2 generates speech in more than 15 additional languages.
- All are reachable through Microsoft Foundry and a dedicated MAI Playground, part of Microsoft's push to own more of its own model stack.
