Muse Gadgets

Open-source kits for building your own hardware that talks to Muse, Meta's personal AI agent, for hobbyists and developers comfortable with Raspberry Pi or ESP32 boards.

Details

  • Meta released two kits: one for ESP32 microcontroller boards and one for Linux devices like the Raspberry Pi, with the firmware and code on GitHub under the Apache 2.0 license
  • Meta's example projects include a color e-ink display for Muse and a stick that plugs into a TV's HDMI port
  • Meta also built Muse Home Link, a USB-C device that lets Muse reach speakers, smart TVs, and other devices on your home network. It made 5,000 and is giving them free to Muse subscribers while supplies last
  • You get a device token from your Muse settings and start at gadgets.muse.ai, with a community Discord for help
