Organization-Managed MCP Servers in Claude Code

Admins can push a set of connected tools to every Claude Code user in the organization.

Details

A new managedMcpServers setting lets an organization supply hosted tool connections to every user, using the same entry shape as a project's own configuration file
Entries that name a local command to run are skipped, so only hosted connections can be pushed this way
Users no longer have to add the organization's connected tools themselves
Shipped in Claude Code 2.1.259
