Organizational Messages on Hybrid-Joined Devices

Admin update. Organizational Messages can now reach hybrid Azure AD joined devices, not just fully cloud-joined or on-premises ones.

Details

  • Organizational Messages previously only reached devices joined fully to Azure Active Directory or to on-premises Active Directory, which left hybrid-joined devices uncovered
  • Targeting hybrid Azure AD joined devices needs no extra configuration or separate tooling
  • Managed from the Organizational Messages section of the Microsoft 365 admin center, on Web. Roadmap ID 503564

Best for

Reaching a device fleet that is split between on-premises and cloud identity management.

When to use it

Your organization runs hybrid identity and some devices were silently missing admin messages.

Who benefits

IT and Microsoft 365 admins. End users on hybrid devices simply start receiving messages they were missing.
