Details
- Connects accounts through Plaid, where you sign in to your bank and approve read-only access; Claude never sees your bank password
- For each connected account Claude sees balances, credit limits, account details, and up to two years of transactions
- Totals spending by category, compares months, flags duplicate charges, unexpected fees, and rising bills, and builds spending charts and bill calendars
- Access is read-only: Claude cannot move, manage, or invest money, and it is not designed to give investment advice
- Conversations in the Personal Finance hub are not used to train Anthropic's models, and you can unlink an account at any time
- Beta rolling out gradually on Pro, Max, and Ultra plans in the US only; open it from the Claude sidebar
