Reusable Agent Profiles in the Perplexity Agent API

For developers on the Perplexity Agent API: save an agent's full setup once and reuse it across apps, with shared Skills and managed app connections.

A Profile saves an agent's model, instructions, tools, Skills, connectors, and run settings under one versioned ID that project members can call
Skills package instructions, procedures, and supporting files as versioned units, so a team publishes a new version instead of editing instructions in every app
Managed connectors let a project admin set up an approved integration once instead of each developer wiring it and storing credentials. GitHub, Slack, Google Drive, Datadog, Linear, and Notion are supported, and teams can add custom connectors for internal systems
Project admins configure all of this in the API Console, and members reference it using an API key from the same project
Profiles and custom Skills are available now. Managed connectors are in preview
