Claude reads a sample of transcripts, groups them into workstreams and output types (analysis, documentation, code), and attaches spend to each group
Covers chat, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork, looks back up to 28 days, and can be scoped to teams, groups, departments, or cost centers
Also surfaces common friction (connector failures, rework loops, tool errors), unproductive sessions in aggregate, repeated patterns worth packaging as shared skills, and answers to custom questions you add
Owners turn it on under Organization Settings > Capabilities, with a separate toggle for whether individual names appear in drilldowns
Personal conversations and restricted topics like HR, health, and legal are excluded, and Anthropic says the reports should not be used to evaluate individual performance
Beta with 10 free reports per organization each month. Not available for organizations using customer-managed encryption keys, HIPAA setups, Access Transparency, or zero-data-retention Claude Code
