Visible Watermark Toggle in Gemini

A setting in the Gemini app that turns off the visible watermark stamped onto images, videos, and music you generate.

Details

  • One setting, Show watermark, controls whether the visible stamp appears on everything you generate from then on
  • Covers Nano Banana images, Omni video, and Lyria music tracks
  • Turning the stamp off does not make a file untraceable: Google still embeds an invisible tag and file metadata marking it as AI-generated
  • Found under settings in the Gemini app, rolling out over several days
  • In India, South Korea, and Vietnam the setting requires a paid AI Ultra subscription. Work and school accounts do not get it at all
