Claude decides what a request needs and routes it to the right tools, instead of you choosing between chat and Cowork up front
Context, skills, and connectors carry across conversations in the merged app
By default Claude asks before it acts. You can switch that so it keeps working on its own and only checks in when something needs a closer look
Existing Cowork chats, projects, artifacts, connectors, and skills stay where they are. Chat users don't need to do anything
Rolling out to Pro and Max over the next few weeks on web, desktop, and mobile, with Team and Free plans after that. Enterprise admins get 30 days notice before anything changes
