Perplexity Projects

A shared workspace in Perplexity Computer where files, memory, and tasks carry over from one session to the next, replacing Spaces.

Replaces Spaces, and existing sessions can be converted into a Project so their files and artifacts carry over
Each Project has a persistent file system where you upload documents, import folders, or pull files from connected sources, and Computer opens, edits, and saves back to those same files instead of starting fresh each task
A memory system called Brain reads the Project's sessions and files between tasks and keeps a running summary, so the next task starts with the context from the last one instead of a blank slate
Brain can run on a schedule or on demand to reorganize files and update the Project summary
On a shared Project every teammate sees the same files and context, but personal memory and connected accounts stay private to each person
Mac and Windows desktop app users can connect local files from their machine, and those stay visible only to the person who added them
Projects connect to over 400 tools including Google Drive, Notion, Linear, Snowflake, and GitHub
