Shared Avatars in Gemini
You can now share your Gemini avatar with friends so they can put your likeness and voice in the images and videos they make, for adults with personal Google accounts outside Europe.

Details
- Share from Settings > Avatar by entering someone's Gmail address; they have to accept before they can use your likeness
- Shared avatars are tagged in prompts with @ and the person's username, for example asking for you and @Dave doing a dance
- You can see who has access, remove anyone, or set expiration dates; removing access stops new content but doesn't delete what was already made
- Requires age 18 or older and a personal Google Account, works in English only, and isn't available in the EEA, Switzerland, or the UK; making videos with an avatar requires a Google AI plan
Best for
Group images and videos where each person's face and voice stay consistent.
When to use it
You want friends or collaborators to include you in content they make in Gemini.
Who benefits
Gemini users who already set up an avatar and make social or personal content with others.
